Not quite what they were expecting

Chevrolet is releasing a new model of its Tahoe SUV, and as part of the publicity campaign, allowed all website visitors to put together a Chevy Tahoe ad by combining several clips of stock footage with custom text. Needless to say, the results weren’t quite what they were expecting. My favorite is this gem. I am not sure how long Chevy will allow it to remain up, so here is the ad’s script:

[Arctic wilderness, snow, mountains, a Chevy Tahoe throwing up a cloud of snow]
Like snow?
Beatiful landscapes?

Be sure to take it all in now because…
[Chevy Tahoe on a clean highway through a field of snow]
tomorrow
[close-in shot of the Chevy Tahoe]
This asshole’s SUV
[green screen]
Will change the world
[Chevy SUVs on top of a waterfall]
Global warming isn’t a pretty SUV ad
[Chevy SUV driving through desert dunes]
It’s a frightening reality
